As a curious lifelong nerd and researcher, I find one of the niches I’m good at is providing objective opnions of products and services. I have long enjoyed photography and recently entered the world of SLR photography and never looked back.

While trying to decide what Digital SLR cameras, lenses, and accessories to cover, I found a shortage of reviews which were more personal and subjective– many reviews are either very technical, or too biased to be trusted.

I also have publishing experience, though in the Software Engineering world.  I helped publish a technical book in 2002, served on the Editorial Board for a magazine called the ColdFusion Developers Journal, and also have written for several different programming related magazines.

Combining my publishing experience with my love of photography and the lack of dedicated SLR camera review sites, I decided to create Digital SLR Camera Reviews.

Here at Digital SLR Camera Reviews you will find objective reviews of DSLR Cameras, Lenses, and Accessories, as well as comparisons between various equipment which people shop against each other often.   If you have a hot tip, a suggestion, etc, please feel free to contact me!   I fully attribute anyone who lets me know of something I should check-out, has a great suggestion I end-up trying, etc.  Because of the volume of contact I receive, I am unable to respond to all requests, but they are all read.
