This site features advertising and potentially inline affiliate links which we recieve compenstation for.   Sponsors may also provide free services or equipment in exchange for reviews.   While such actions are normal and necessary to pay for the costs of hosting, equipment rentals, etc, they will not affect the objectiveness of our reviews, and we will state openly if and when we have received a service or product for free in order to review it.

Most of our research involves scouring the internet for first hand reviews, current owners comments, etc.  Because we are a small personally owned blog we may not always have the resources to do our own hands-on reviews because the products are too expensive, and not every service and company is looking for a small blog like us to review their equipment or services which they provide.  All hands-on reviews will be specifically labeled as hands-on reviews, while our research type reviews will not.
